Mckendree’s Plumbing & Heating, Inc. was founded by Clifford F. Mckendree Jr. and Gladys Mckendree in January 1961. They started this business with their first Southern Bell Yellow page ad in 1961,in a 1000 sq. foot building in the old Lackawanna area of Jacksonville off Lenox Ave.

With hard work, and the emphasis on customer satisfaction the company has grown over the past 44 years, maintaining its strict policy on providing quality and respected plumbing and mechanical systems.

In 1991 McKendrees day to day operations were passed to the second generation of the Mckendree family. Clifford F. Mckendree III and Clayton Lee Mckendree are the new owners of Mckendree's, further growing the company in all areas of service/repair, commercial, industrial, residential, and institutional plumbing and mechanical operations. Today they operate out of 2500 sq ft of Administrative offices and 8000 sq ft of Warehouse and Fabrication Facilities. Ironically this new shop is located only blocks from its early beginnings.
